WHAT A WIDE RIDE ARCHERY HAS BEEN THIS FIRST QUARTER!
I have to say that it seems like every single weekend there is another archery tournament.  With 4-H practices each weekend, plus all the indoor, and now outdoor, target tournaments, as well as, the 3D tournaments, it has been a very busy first quarter for all the archers and coaches with Caddo Archery.

Last weekend there was a S3DA 3D shoot down in Jonesville, LA, and here in Shreveport, we had the LFAA State 900 Championships in the Independence Stadium of all places.  A great thanks to Hoot & Holler, Independence Stadium, SPAR and RRBAC for running such a great tournament.

This Saturday we have a 3D shoot at RRBAC which is always fun.  Next Saturday North Caddo Shooting Club is having an Open 3D shoot at their facility.  Also there is an ASA 3D tournament in Paris, TX next weekend as well.  Let us also not forget that there is still the Louisiana 4-H State Championships happening April  21-22 down in Gonzalez.

Too many tournaments and not enough bows!

On the Results Page we have updated the performance of our archers at both the S3DA 3D tournament and the LFAA 900 State Championship.

WOODY'S HOME FOR VETERANS FUN SHOOT
Saturday the Caddo Parish 4-H Archery Club and Caddo Archery JOAD Club got together and hosted a fun shoot for the Veterans at Woody's Home For Veterans. All of our young archers did a very good job teaching and coaching these American heroes. Afterwards our young archers served them hamburgers and hotdogs. Thanks for all the help from our parents and archers in making this fun shoot such a success. It sure did look like the Veterans had a great time. Also thanks to Red River Bowmen Archery Club for allowing us to host the fun shoot at their facility.

4H NORTHERN LA REGIONALS ARE FINISHED!
First I would like to say that I am so proud of all of our archers this year. They all worked their tails off, and for those who this is their first year, I was amazed at how well they grew in just a few short months. Our veteran archers as usual did what they do, and all of them gave a very good performance, with all of them bringing home a medal. Now we turn our heads towards Gonzalez and see if we can get even better before State.
